Photo Walks

For those that follow me and are in the NYC/Long Island area, and are not members of the Long Island Photowalk Flickr group, let me invite you to several walks I am planning on attending this Summer/Fall (actual attendance depends on health as I will be recovering from surgery):

FYI: Some of the links may be NSFW (not safe for work) or children.
Keep in mind, Mer-art and Burlesque shows plenty of skin and bosoms
of females and/or men in ‘skimpy bathing suits’.

Mermaid Parade

The Parade is followed by the Mermaid Parade Ball, a post-parade gathering where costumed parade participants can get together with each other and parade spectators to listen to live music, purchase raffle tickets, and watch burlesque and sideshow acts performed by some of New York City’s hottest burlesque stars.

Honestly, I canNOT wait to see the mer-costumes plus the burlesque stars.  I’m iffy on bringing my boyfriend because of possible wandering eyes 😉

Gay Pride March

The March began as an annual civil rights demonstration beginning the year after the Stonewall Riots in 1970. Over the years its purpose has broadened to include recognition of the fight against AIDS and to remember those we have lost to the illness, violence and neglect. It has also evolved to include being a celebration of our lives and our community.

To watch the March step-off you should be in the 50s or upper 40s on 5th Avenue. For larger crowds and high energy, anywhere in the village is ideal. For smaller crowds, many enjoy watching in the 30s, 20s, and teens on 5th Avenue.

This event is free and open to the public. No tickets are necessary.

All love is right and equal ♥ Assuming the ages are right of course.

Burlesque Fest (8th Annual)

We will be offering a panel featuring Exotic World Titlists!
Only the best win the title of Miss (or Mr.) Exotic World! You will rarely have a chance to consult with one, much less three. They perform all over the world and are headliners at every burlesque festival they attend. If you aspire to improve your performance, advance your career, or just learn from the best, this is the opportunity of a lifetime!

Yes, these are all more adult-themed festivals, but you can trust me to either put a warning on my posts, password protecting them so young children would not see anything inappropriate, or me just taking head shots.

I would never put anything on this blog for the public to see that I would be too embarrassed to show my family. If anyone wants to go on
