May I Have Your Attention Please?
I really hate to beg, but….
This is a time sensitive matter at hand.
Last year on his 11th birthday, we [my family] found out that my younger brother found out that he had Type 2 Juvenile Diabetes when he nearly went into a diabetic coma later that night. Sometime after being diagnosed, he was given an insulin pump and life has been really hard for him since. (Imagine being 11 and being told you suddenly can’t have your trick or treating candy, and you can’t have any candy canes from the Christmas tree or enjoy making Santa’s cookies?)
I bet anyone reading is asking “where is the stupid question for help that Babs stated earlier?” Well, it’s right here:
Mark Sanchez, quarterback for the New York Jets, is helping the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) try to win $100,000 in grants as part of the Pepsi Refresh Project, an online campaign to fund programs that will have a positive impact on people’s lives.
Voters can go to www.nfl.com/pepsirefresh and vote for Sanchez, or text ‘MARK’ to PEPSI (73774). Voting ends at 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 5, 2010.
Please help me and my family help Mark Sanchez win so the JDRF can win and utilize the prize money for other families with this problem.
With much love,
